Certain ChronoQ information is stored locally on your device, depending on the features you use. Learn more below about how your information is processed and protected.

2. Location Data

ChronoQ uses location information for features such as route planning, travel timing, navigation assistance, route progress, departure-related behavior, and arrival-related behavior. Location access depends on the permissions you allow through device settings.

When permitted by the user and required by the relevant feature, ChronoQ may also use location while the app is not visibly in the foreground in order to support guidance or travel-related workflows.

4. Maps, Routing, and Geocoding Services

ChronoQ uses third-party providers for core functionality:

  • MapTiler provides map data, map styles, and related map resources used directly by the app.
  • HeiGIT openrouteservice provides routing services through the ChronoQ backend.
  • OpenCage provides geocoding services through the ChronoQ backend.

  • Google Play Billing supports ChronoQ Pro subscription purchases and related billing processing.

These providers may process information necessary to provide their services according to their own terms and privacy practices.

5. Local Data, Backup, and Restore

Many ChronoQ features use local device storage, including planner information, reminders, saved places, route history, app settings, and local entitlement or app-state information.

ChronoQ may also support backup and restore functions for app information. Backup or exported files may remain under your control depending on how you use them.

ChronoQ currently does not require a ChronoQ account or login, and it does not currently provide a ChronoQ account-based cloud backup system.

6. Subscription Information

ChronoQ Pro subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. ChronoQ does not collect or store your payment-card details.

ChronoQ may locally store information related to subscription entitlement or purchase state as part of the current app behavior.

7. Data Sharing and Security

ChronoQ does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only when necessary to provide core app functions, maintain security, operate the service, or comply with legal obligations.
